FREEWORKSHOP! LOGIC MODELING AND PROGRAM PLANNING , MARCH 31, 5PMMarch 31, 2011 5-7:30 PM. Presented by Maryland Nonprofits at the MSAC offices.
Evaluation planning helps program managers answer three fundamental questions about service delivery: 1. What did we do? Not only does a systematic, well-executed program evaluation system help you internally by pointing out areas in which a program can improve, but being able to determine outcomes helps to make the case for funding, facilitates information sharing with similar programs and agencies, and can provide information helpful to those seeking to replicate success. This training will help develop a framework for a comprehensive evaluation plan by reexamining the components of the program. Participants will articulate the expected outcomes of their programs as well as rationales and assumptions of them. Lastly, the workshop will examine the appropriate use of data collection methods such as surveys and interviews, and develop a clear method for measuring programmatic effectiveness. The workshop is limited to 20 participants to ensure individual attention and interaction. Pre-registration is required.
