About the Artist
I am an artist from the Clear Spring area in Maryland. Currently I am attending West Virginia University to get a degree in Art Education and Photography. I have had a love of art since I was very young, and in the past six years have been exploring photography. My camera hardly leaves my side, I document life and try to capture the moments that matter. As I do this I am also aware of how a photo can be malipulated in programs like Photoshop and Lightroom. With this in mind I will use everyday images to create abstract works of art in Photoshop.Artist's Statement
My prefered medium is photography and digital editing through Photoshop. I work to replicate the illusion and look created by kaliedoscopes through may different methods. Using Photoshop I am able to duplicate on aspect of a photo in order to reproduce it multiple times which leaves a kaliedoscopic effect. I have been working on this style going on three years, and as I go the process evolves and chnages. I have recently began a study in vortography which uses a prism to alter the subject being shot. With this style the malipulation is happening in the camera with no heavy post editing to get duplicated effects.Featured Work

This an image I created in photoshop through reflecting certain aspects of the original image. I then isolated parts of the image I liked and used them as details throughout the image. After doing all of this I simply amplified the saturation to get the bright and intense coloring.
Double Vision

The world looks different shot through a prismatic lens. With the help of a filter added to my camera I was able to explore the long lost photographic style of Vortography. Here I have shot the mural along the cultural trail in Hagerstown.
Blue Print of NYC
photography, photoshop
2018
This is an artwork made through the use if photoshop. I take one image to create a kaleidoscopic like rendering. The original photograph was of the streets of New York City. I used photoshop to repeat certain elements, and later added a second layer with the same image only smaller, a new color, and tilted at a different angle.
