About the Artist
Emily seeks to ignite conversation around perspective through her painting, photography, and writing. Emily works in a studio in the Woodberry neighborhood in Baltimore City, where she creates bold bright paintings of flowers and horizons, photographs the creative process and the natural world, and writes about gratitude, light, and wonder. Emily’s work has been shown locally in recent years at Fleckenstein Gallery, Bozzuto Greene Art, Towson Arts Collective, and The Center Club, and is held in numerous private collections in the Baltimore area. In addition to her creative work, Emily has served in a variety of volunteer roles in the community, and currently serves on the Baltimore County Commission on Arts and Sciences, and on the Board of Na'aleh: The Hub for Leadership Learning. Emily was born and raised in Baltimore. She currently lives in Baltimore County with her husband; they are the parents of two young adult children.Featured Work
