About the Artist

Freddi Weiner-Photographer and Artist   My personal philosophy is that beauty is everywhere if we just take a moment to notice it. In my work, I try to capture the everyday beauty that surrounds us. Much of my work is nature-oriented specializing in wildlife, landscapes, flora, and fauna. My work is a mix of local, national, and international images as I aim to capture and share beauty wherever I go. I was the featured artist for the Audubon Society of SC, I also won first place in the Nature category for my “Green Heron” as well as first place in the Landscape category in the Kiawah Island Nature Photography contest and was featured in the Kiawah Island Club Magazine.  I won the first place Jurors award for photography for my “Cherry Creek” at the OAA show, my work was also featured at the exhibit “Arte di Primavera” as part of the Gaithersburg Cultural Arts Advisory Committee special exhibit-Water at The City of Gaithersburg.   I was selected for a solo exhibit at The Brookside Gardens and for numerous juried exhibits including The  Martha Spak Gallery in DC,, The Montgomery Art Association, Columbia Art Center,   The Howard County Conservancy,  The Rockville Art League, The Carroll County Center for the Arts, The Olney Art Association, The Gaithersburg Cultural Arts Advisory Committee, The Sandy Spring Museum,  The City of Gaithersburg, Bauer Center, Brookside Gardens and have been in shows at The Sandy Spring Museum,  Chestertown River Arts Center, Woodlawn Manor, Olney Library, The Galleria at Ranazul, Sandy Spring Museum, The Glenview Mansion, The Women’s Club of Chevy Chase, Kentlands Mansion and many more.   I have an Instagram account @photosbyfreddi and I have been chosen to be a featured artist on numerous other Instagram accounts such as: @Audubon_sc, @Premiumbutterfly,  @Wowshots, @Kiawahstyle
