About the Artist

I am a painter living in the Fallston area of Harford County, Maryland. My work is representational and includes different subjects, much of which are related to the beauty of nature in the form of landscapes. The mediums that I like to work with are usually either water color or acrylic. My education centered around the Fine Arts Program at Towson University, where I graduated with a BS degree in 1980. After graduation I found work in the printing industry with Globe Poster Printing Corporation and worked with the company for the following 6 years. This time was followed by a short period of time in which I pursued freelance work. One of my best freelance clients picked me up as a full time employee and so, I went to work for Barton Cotton, a well established printing company specializing in direct mail programs. Barton Cotton went bankrupt in 2009 and I later found work with Concord Litho where I was able to work until their Baltimore office closed in January of 2016. At this point in my life I find it more attractive to pursue my painting as a better way to fulfill my interests in the world of art. I decided to join with The Maryland State Arts Council as a means to further my goals as an artist and painter.
