Inspired by the Greek philosopher Plato and his Allegory of the Cave where a prisoner who lived his whole life only knowing the darkness of the cave and shadows is finally set free and slowly begins to learn the truth in perceived reality from the real world and the world he once knew. Breach brings attention to questions from antiquity relating to the meaning of life, the truth in reality, and the importance of the present moment. Breach is set at the shore of a beach as a young man is found unconscious laying in the sand. As he begins to wake up and remember how he got there, he recalls the very moments leading up to the capsizing of his raft at sea. Telling the story, he finds a newfound appreciation for his second chance at life. As the series progresses, Breach expresses the overwhelming nature of anxiety and reminds us to treat the present moment with gratitude. (A five part series)
