Craft, Design / Digital, Drawing, Painting, Paper / Book / Illustration, Printmaking, Visual / Media

I am a printmaker by trade and study. Ink and multiplication of imagery is in my blood. Owner, printer and designer at Tiny Dog Press, I create cards, posters and other gift items that focus on local architecture placed with geometric backgrounds produced by letterpress or silk screen methods. I believe in the value of personal stories that make each of our lives rich. TDP's architecture series brings popular Baltimore locations into your everyday life reminding you of your stories behind those locations within the city.
As a visual artist I am interested in exploring social issues with the desire to communicate understanding, hope and healing through the work. The last 10 years of life experiences have directed my personal interests in the arena of trauma; how our brains and bodies experience and heal from trauma. In addition, the last 4 years I have been immersed in the community surrounding individuals with Down syndrome and differing abilities. Both interests are rooted in my experience as a mother to two children while being an advocate and ally in both communities.
