By definition, Cabaret is a form of theatrical entertainment, traditionally performed on a stage in a restaurant or nightclub, usually a small one. It is an intimate art form. A story told through song.

My goal is to engage audiences in a fresh and modern take on Cabaret with an eclectic set list ranging from standards such as the Gershwin’s Embraceable You and Cole Porter’s Every Time We Say Goodbye to French classics sung by Dalida like Mourir Sur Scene, and Joe Dassin's Et Si Tu N'existais Pas, to country classics like Crazy and Long Long Time and original material.
In this way, I hope to convey the modernity and timelessness of the art form and the composers I select.

About the Artist

Mariah is a recording artist, singer and all around performer.  She was born in Baltimore, Maryland and moved with her family to France at the age of ten.  She attended the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. Upon graduating, Mariah moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career as an actress. She appeared in television shows such as CSI, Rules of Engagement, and Scorpion and landed film roles alongside Justin Timberlake, Jean Claude Van Damme, and Dolph Lundgren.  Mariah also began to develop her Cabaret act and performed her first show at the Gardenia Room in West Hollywood. In 2017, she moved back to Baltimore and recorded her debut album, At Last, at the height of the pandemic. She has produced and directed her own music videos, and released two albums, At Last and Yours in Song.

    This music video was directed by Marcus Dagan and released in anticipation of the launch of my second album, Yours in Song.
    This Is My Life was made famous by Shirley Bassey and I was inspired to record it for this album, which came out on May 6th 2022.

    My debut album, At Last, is the product of a two-year collaboration with pianist and composer Marcus Dagan. Dream A Little Dream, the opening number, is the subject of this short film. The song was written in 1931 by Gus Kahn, Fabian Andre and Wilbur Schwandt. The French version, Les Yeux Ouverts (Eyes Open) was created by Enzo Enzo in 1990.

I am able to provide a sound system if necessary, as well as a keyboard, mics and cables. Additional musicians can bring their own instruments and equipement.

No travel restrictions and are available to travel throughout Maryland to perform.
