About the Artist

My name is Maru Martinez, I'm a 28 year old musician and guitar instructor residing in Frederick, Maryland. I've been playing guitar for 14 years with recording/performing experience, and have been working as a guitar instructor in Frederick for the past 3 years. As a teacher, I love sharing my passion for music with my students in the local Frederick community. My goal is to create a positive and welcoming environment for music learning while helping them achieve their musical goals and achieve a well-balanced music education. When I'm not teaching, I'm working on writing and producing my own music.
