About the Artist
The Voice is an incredibly versatile creative tool. It manifests language, sound, and emotion. It emulates any sound in the environment. It reverberates in our own head when we vocalize, creating a dynamic feedback loop that can be a portal to deep inner discovery. These are just a few of the things Max Bent has learned as a Human Beatbox. His vocal journey has led him to music, sound design, breath science and story telling. Max’s music is rooted in Hip Hop culture. He has produced vocal beats for MCs (Seez Mics, Ipcus) and recorded “Play Mode” with Beatbox Dads co-creator Jamaal “Black Root” Collier. He has performed with Step Afrika, Afrohouse, and the Baltimore Boom Bap Society. He created Sound Tales, a kids and family story-telling podcast that features stories, songs and sounds created 100% by the Human Voice. Max creates for children; for their learning, entertainment and health.Max Bent website Max Makes Music Max Bent website Beatbox Dads Max Bent website Sound Tales Podcast
