About the Artist
Meredith Meer is a teaching artist, illustrator, and arts educator dedicated to empowering students through creative exploration. She believes art is more than technical skill—it’s a way of thinking, observing, and expressing ideas. Inspired by the Studio Thinking framework, she creates classroom environments that function like real-world studios, where students experiment, make creative choices, and develop their unique voices. Meredith’s artistic practice is deeply intertwined with her teaching. She draws inspiration from doodles, found objects, and handwritten notes, embracing a playful curiosity that informs both her work and instruction. Her mixed-media illustrations, featuring vibrant colors and hand-drawn textures, explore themes of mindfulness and mental health awareness. In addition to teaching, Meredith is the founder of Art Pod Studio, an art education brand offering creative products for kids and adults. She also provides freelance illustration services for branding, advertising, publishing, and commissions. Drawing from years of teaching in diverse settings, Meredith thoughtfully designs learning experiences that engage and inspire. She welcomes opportunities to work with organizations seeking to expand access to lifelong learning through the arts.Meredith Meer website Link to Portfolio Website Meredith Meer website Link to Art Pod Studio
