About the Artist

I grew up surrounded by beautiful pieces of art, with four generations of accomplished artists in my family. My first lessons started at age four where I was taught how to draw perspective and horizons from my Grandmother, and I have been painting ever since. I continued my studies through college where I grew and evolved as an artist with a BFA from the University of Maryland. I continue to take many different types of art classes, several times a year. I love to learn about new media, techniques and get new ideas. I love whimsical art, and functional art that makes you feel energized as you walk by, art that makes your soul smile. I'm strongly influenced by pop culture and bright, bold, textured colors can be found in most of my artwork. I work mainly in oils and acrylics, but sometimes work in pencil and charcoal as well. I also love Glass art and make pop art plates, designs from fused glass that can be used and enjoyed everyday. I am also proud to be part of the Art-O-Mat community which sells small, affordable art from old refurbished cigarettes machines. I've had my artwork shown and sold in galleries , coffee houses and specialty shops all along the East Coast and thanks to the internet, have sold to private buyers all over the world.
