I found these bones while walking on the beach. The fox, who I've nicknamed Sandy, knew she was going to pass on soon and chose to spend her final moments in the peace and tranquility of the beach. I painted this bones to resemble the glimmer of the water she looked out on as she died, and on the setting night sky above her.
RIP Sandy

Spring of hope
Acrylic Paint
2019
I found this bone during a hike in the woods. I painted it by hand with acrylic paint and used dogwood petals and protective coating. Dogwood petals represent resilience in the face of hopelessness, while the green is the optimism of new beginnings.
