About the Artist
A D.C. native who lives in near Shady Grove in Derwood, A. Z. Minichiello plays soothing acoustic background music on Rizzetta hammer dulcimer #60 since 1975.Artist's Statement
Acoustic diverse folk and worship songs from various traditions provide soothing background music. In the past I have played a few venues such as Eastern Market, Farragut North and Georgetown in Washington, DC; as well as private parties and fundraisers on Capital Hill, Mt. Pleasant/Adams Morgan, and more recently Wood-End (Nature Forward!) in Chevy Chase. Church services played in the past include Washington National Cathedral, Mission San Juan, Misa Alegria, and most recently Misa Magdalena in Aspen Hill, Maryland. I have also played at Seneca State Park and at the Tea House of Gambrill State Park in Frederick County. I look forward to playing more to sooth the airwaves of Maryland and environs!Booking
