G-PARC Gaithersburg Parks, Arts and Recreation Corporation

About this Organization

The mission of the Gaithersburg Parks, Arts, and Recreation Corporation (G-PARC), a 501C3, organization, is to promote awareness, engage public and private partnerships, and raise resources to support new and matured parks, arts, and recreation initiatives of the City. Proposed programs meet criteria that enrich the quality of life in the community, further a sense of identity and pride, and demonstrate a high standard of artistic merit and public appeal. Specifically, G-PARC's Alliance for Arts and Culture (ACA) supports projects, initiatives, and facilities to advance arts and culture: Gaithersburg’s Arts Barn and Arts on the Green, Public Art, Community Museum, Book Festival, and Chorus. ACA works with visual and performing artists, arts organizations, businesses, and the City to engage Gaithersburg’s diverse community, facilitate connections, help provide equitable resources for underserved youth and families, and create accessible opportunities for the arts to flourish.
