Garfield Center Foundation, Inc.

The Garfield Center for the Arts at the Prince Theatre's mission is to invigorate the cultural life of our community by nurturing, celebrating and supporting arts and artists through performance and education.

About this Organization

The Garfield Center produces year-round programming, including 5 to 6 self-produced theatrical plays and musicals per season, music events and concert bookings, monthly Open Mic and Improv events, founding-member participation in Live Playwrights' Society, a playwriting group that nurtures and supports new writers, and highly successful youth theatre education programs, including the long-standing and enormously successful Playmakers summer program. The Garfield Center for the Arts is proud to be n Eastern Shore multi-performance venue with a strong emphasis on community involvement by engaging volunteers and audiences in the arts and arts opportunities.
