Soprano Yulia Petrachuk studied at Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory and is a graduate of Bern Opera Studio in Bern, Switzerland. Her debut as a professional opera singer was with the State Theater Bern, Switzerland, in 2010. After that, she performed with many other recognized opera companies and concert venues, such as Theater Biel (Switzerland), Ash Lawn Opera Festival (US), Opera Ischia (Italy), Dicapo Opera Theater in New York (US), Great Moscow Hall (Russia), Vocal Productions NYC (US), Nova and Opera Camerata in Washington, D.C (US), Smetana Hall in Prague (Czech Republic), Carnegie Hall in New York (US), Musikverein and Wiener Konzerthaus in Vienna (Austria), and many others. Yulia specializes in contemporary opera and other forms of vocal music of the 20th & 21st centuries and has performed many World and US premieres. Besides Yulia's international touring career, she often performs for Maryland and DC communities, presenting unknown or lesser-known classical music to the audience.
For Maryland State touring, Yulia offers various vocal programs from Baroque to the 21st century. Russian-born soprano Olga Orlovskaya inherited her talent from her great-grandfather, the famous Russian bass, Fedor Shalyapin. She graduated with honors from the Russian Academy of Music and received her Master of Arts in voice specialty. Her career highlights include singing the role of Katerina in Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk by Shostakovich with Novosibirsk State Opera Theater, for which she won a Golden Mask nomination. This role became a signature role for Olga, and she performed it with great success with many other opera companies. Ms. Orlovskaya made her debut in the US in 2006 with “Helicon Opera” as Adele in Die Fledermaus by Johann Strauss on the stages of 50 theaters in the continental US. After she immigrated to the States, Olga performed many title roles for soprano in operas such as Lucia di Lammermoor, La Traviata, Tosca, Aida, Madame Butterfly, La Boheme, Carmen, and Turandot. In the 2010-2011 season, Olga was a season opener for a concert series for the National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington, D.C. In 2010, Ms. Orlovskaya became a soloist for Washington Balalaika Society – the biggest and most respected Russian folk instruments orchestra in the United States.
For Maryland State touring, Olga offers various vocal classical music programs. Her repertoire includes works from the standard opera music repertoire as well as art songs with piano and orchestras. Composer and guitarist Serge Khrichenko is a graduate of the Rimsky-Korsakov Music College in St. Petersburg, Russia. He worked as a professional composer and performer with the St. Petersburg Philharmonic for more than 10 years. In 2004, Mr. Khrichenko won the most prestigious guitar competition in America, “Guitar Mageddon,” in Washington, D.C. In 2005, Serge became a winner of the International Music Competition EUTERPE in Italy. In May 2012, he was awarded the Grand Prize for the Best Performance at Russia’s International Guitar World Festival. His compositions “Tango Mephisto” and “Raising Buddha” were finalists in the instrumental category of the U.K. International Songwriting Contest, 2007, and his composition “Dangerous Journey” was listed many times in the “Top 10 on Earth” in the jazz-fusion category.
For Maryland State touring, Serge offers his original compositions in classical, jazz, and folk music styles.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS:
After graduating from the Gnessin Academy in 1988, Anna Kusner pursued an active performing career in Moscow both as a soloist and in accompanying vocalists from both the Bolshoi Opera and the Moscow Philharmonic Society. In 1990, she moved to Israel to study classical guitar at the Jerusalem Academy of Music, graduating in 1995. Subsequently, she pursued a flourishing concert career in Israel, Greece, Cyprus, Turkey, and Egypt, appearing with prominent orchestras and chamber groups, while releasing more than a dozen CDs. For over 35 years, Anna taught the classical guitar at conservatories in both Russia and Israel, and she has continued her concertizing and teaching activities all over the United States since moving to Maryland five years ago.

After graduating from the Gnessin Academy in the special class of Alexander Tsygankov, Peter Omelchenko quickly established himself as one of the most promising folk musicians of his generation, starting his career as a featured domra player with Moscow’s Nekrasov Balalaika Orchestra and then “fleeting up” to the world-famous Osipov Balalaika Orchestra, where he performed as a soloist and became one of the Ossipov’s principal arrangers. Additionally, Peter became active with several smaller Moscow folk-instrument ensembles – both playing and arranging – and even appeared in stage and circus productions. Locally, in addition to performing with and occasionally conducting the orchestra of the Washington Balalaika Society, Peter plays with several chamber groups and has taken a growing number of music students under his wing.
The ensemble “Lost On Mars” was established by Lyrica Classic in 2021. At present, it is formed as a quartet and includes pianist Tatiana Loisha, guitarist Serge Khrichenko, soprano Yulia Petrachuk, and organist Nicholas Will. The ensemble performs original compositions by Serge Khrichenko in NeoClassical style.
For Maryland State touring, Lost on Mars offers its original composition "Cantata for 9/11", a 25-min piece dedicated to the lives tragically lost in the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001.

Pianist Tatiana Loisha studied at the Belarusian State Academy of Music, Minsk, Belarus, where she graduated with a B.A. in piano performance and received a degree in collaborative piano. Tatiana is a winner of the Shostakovitch competition (St. Petersburg, Russia, 2001), the International Competition for Young Pianists (Brest, France, 2002), and a winner of contests for singers’ and pianists’ duets in Vilnius, Lithuania, 2006; St. Petersburg, Russia, 2006; and Kazan, Russia, 2007. In 2016-2019, Tatiana worked as a staff accompanist at the Cleveland Institute of Music and Baldwin Wallace University, and as a rehearsal and performance pianist with the Cleveland Opera Theater. She also worked as a pianist at the Oberlin program in Italy (Arezzo, Italy) in the summer of 2018. Since first moving to the D.C. area in 2014, Tatiana worked as a piano accompanist with the Potomac Vocal Institute and has actively performed in the D.C. metropolitan area accompanying singers and instrumentalists. Tatiana has collaborated with well-known vocalists such as Yuri Gorodetski, Oksana Volkova, and Ilya Silchukov, to name a few. The collaboration embraced preparing for and performing at international competitions including the Queen Elisabeth Competition, Operalia, BBC Cardiff Singer of the World, and the Montreal International Musical Competition.
Organist Nicholas Will is Director of Liturgical Music, Organist & Lecturer at Mount St. Mary’s Seminary in Emmitsburg, Maryland. From 2018 to 2020, he held a similar position at the Pontifical North American College, Rome, and from 2013 to 2018, he was an Assistant Professor of Music and Coordinator of the Sacred Music Program at Franciscan University of Steubenville. A graduate of Duquesne University and the Peabody Conservatory of Music with additional study at the Pontifical Institute of Sacred Music, Rome, Nicholas is a past winner of the André Marchal Award for Excellence in Organ Performance (Duquesne), the Dorothy DeCourt Prize in Organ (Peabody), the Young Organists’ Audition sponsored by the Pittsburgh Concert Society, and the Duquesne University Concerto Competition. He has performed as an organist, accompanist, and conductor throughout the eastern United States and in Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, and Croatia. Nicholas is also the Founder and President of the Saint Gregory Institute of Sacred Music, a non-profit organization dedicated to training present and future generations of church musicians.
A concert program of sacred contemporary vocal & organ music by three American composers: Eli Tamar, Emmanuel Dubois, Serge Khrichenko.
Lyrica Classic introduces Maryland-based artists and new organ and vocal sacred music that is written on Catholic and Orthodox prayer texts to a live and virtual audience. The project features works by three contemporary composers: American-Belgian composer Emmanuel Dubois, Israeli-American composer Eli Tamar, and Russian-American composer Serge Khrichenko.
The program was already successfully presented in France, Lebanon, Catonsville (MD), Alexandria (VA), and is selected by the US Embassy in Vienna for its annual program US Mission to Austria to be presented by Lyrica Classic at Congress Graz Stefaniensaal in January 2022.
The concert program can be presented at a venue with a full organ preferably placed on a "stage" (not a balcony). A live stream or a virtual concert can be arranged as well.
Lyrica Classic will provide all needed sound and lighting equipment for the event if needed.

Requiem for the Fallen
The oratorio “Requiem For The Fallen” by Belgian composer Emmanuel M. Dubois performed at Zankel Hall at Carnegie Hall in October 2019. The oratorio is a substantial work offering an emotional and dignifying pause for reflection on the loss of life due to senseless war violence, written for a soprano solo, orchestra, and chorus. Requiem by Eli Tamar
"Requiem" by Eli Tamar is a mass for mixed choir and mezzo-soprano solo. Eli Tamar composed his Requiem in 2020-2021 at the height of the coronavirus pandemic and dedicated it to the memory of its victims. Based on selected texts of the Catholic mass for the dead, the work also features the text of the Jewish prayer for the departed “El Male Rachamim” (God full of mercy). The soloist in the composition represents the mourner as an individual, and as a leader of a “Congregation” (choir).
In the video, the Requiem is performed by Moscow Synodal Choir, conductor by Mikhael Kotelnikov, and the renowned mezzo-soprano Polina Shamaeva - soloist of the Novaya Opera Theater and the Hungarian State Opera House in Budapest, winner of the Grand Opera television competition and other world-famous competitions.

To arrange a touring with an artist or ensemble, or to buy one of our programs, a presenter/music company must contact Lyrica Classic with a description of the desired project. After agreeing on the details and proposal issued by Lyrica, the presenter and Lyrica Classic will sign a service agreement for a specific artist/s, ensemble, or program.
If the program is indoors and with piano accompaniment, then the venue must have a tuned piano and simple stage lighting.
If the concert is outdoors, then our artists may provide an electric piano or its own sound equipment if needed. For vocalists, an outdoor venue must provide speakers and a microphone.
The venue must have a backstage room for a warm-up and dressing. An acoustic rehearsal is required before a show or on any day before a concert.
Our artists can also present a concert program in virtual settings.
Our artists are available for traveling in entire Maryland.
Suppose the concert location is more than 3 hours away from the artist's home. In that case, a presenter provides an artist/ensemble with housing and covers travel expenses unless it's already included in the artist's honorarium.
