ALI MIRSKY
Ever since I can remember I have been a dreamer, a creator, and someone who is fiercely devoted to self expression and kindness. It is with this ideology that I move in the world and have devoted my life to the exploration of art and the creation of hundreds of public art installations within communities all over the world. From Africa to Israel, to small towns along the East Coast and over 100 public art projects in Baltimore and the DMV alone, I have been able to utilize my talents and expertise to spread the power of art.
Lisa Skibenes
Native New Yorker Lisa Skibenes uses her affinity for sensuality and visual pleasure to create innovative, tactile art. Lisa moved to the Eastern Shore from New York in September 2013 and immediately immersed herself in the area’s rich artistic community. Since then, she has studied watercolor with local artists, Heather Crow and Sandy Alenko, and mosaic art with Candace Clough, Laura Rendlen, Kasia Polkowska, and Sue Stockman.
Gail Rosen (Andamento Studio & Gallery)
Studio and gallery for fine mosaic art and handcrafted jewelry. Art created with materials including glass, stone, minerals, fossils, fine gems, and found objects. Resident artists with frequent guest showings. Some commissions accepted – help design a piece for yourself or for a gift. Watch the work, browse, shop and meet the artists! Andamento is an Italian word meaning ‘movement’ or ‘course.’ It describes the flow of lines in a piece of mosaic art produced by placement of rows of materials chosen by the artist.
