Sankofa Foundation Incorporated is a U.S 501 (c) 3 non profit arts organization that promotes cultural arts, educate the community about Africa and its rich cultural heritage through workshops, classes, lectures, events, festivals, study/intern abroad, international trade missions and preserve the African heritage in the diaspora.
TANTV: A Multidisciplinary Media-Arts Company Rooted in Culture and Community
TANTV is a Maryland-based, Black-owned multidisciplinary media company dedicated to amplifying underrepresented voices through storytelling, journalism, events, and creative production. Founded with a mission to inform, inspire, and connect multicultural communities, TANTV operates at the vibrant intersection of media, arts, and civic engagement.
It was first founded by Jay M. DeVaughn (Eros Da Artiste) under the name of DEVAUGHN CONSERVATORY OF VOCAL MUSIC in 2021, providing vocal coaching for artists in training, as well as accompaniment for soloists and choral groups in and around the Baltimore area. Its first annual studio showcase was held at Lovely Lane United Methodist Church on April 14th, 2023. Four students performed, backed by a full band with over 40 people in attendance. Shortly thereafter, it became A GAME ARTS ACADEMY.
Chika Enabuka Inc. is a family-centered creative organization based in Silver Spring, Maryland, with roots in Ethiopia. Founded by artists Hamere and Yoseph, the organization blends art, culture, and nature-based learning through festivals, workshops, summer camps, and children’s media. With a strong legacy of impact in Ethiopia and a growing presence in the U.S., Chika Enabuka brings immersive, playful, and educational experiences to communities, inspiring children and families to connect, create, and grow together.

“Words, Wings & Wine” is a monthly arts event in Baltimore that celebrates poetry, comedy, live painting, and music. It serves as a platform for diverse voices and has been a staple since June 2019.

Poe Baltimore was created to fund, maintain, and interpret the Edgar Allan Poe House & Museum. We are home of the International Edgar Allan Poe Festival & Awards.
In a tiny brick house on Baltimore’s North Amity Street in 1833-1835 Edgar Allan Poe wrote some of the early stories that would make him the father of the modern short story, and create and define the modern genres of mystery, horror and science fiction.
His spirit and legacy live throughout Baltimore City, inspiring authors, poets, playwrights, businesses – and even our sports teams. Poe Baltimore celebrates this legacy.

The mission of TD Publishing is to tell amazing stories representing everyone from different walks of life. Through up-and-coming writers that want to entertain individuals through the gift of writing innovative stories.
In November 1966, the Enoch Pratt Free Library published the first issue of Chicory, a groundbreaking magazine of poetry and art by Baltimore residents. Edited by local poet Sam Cornish, Chicory was initially funded through the federal Office of Economic Opportunity’s Community Action Program, under the local leadership of Evelyn Levy, supervisor of Library Services for the Community Action Program, and Thelma Bell, one of the first African American children’s librarians at Pratt.
