The City of Bowie Arts Committee maintains an art gallery on the first and second floors of Bowie City Hall. The gallery includes hanging space for artwork, and two display cases for three-dimensional artwork. The Arts Committee changes the gallery, usually on a quarterly basis. The majority of the gallery exhibits are juried shows. Artists all over the metro DC-Baltimore area are eligible to participate in the juried shows. Artists are then invited to submit digital images of their artwork, along with the entry form.
