I am a native of Cumberland, Maryland. I began my career as an artist at the age of 16, when I held my first solo art show in Frostburg, Maryland. I have since held seven solo art exhibitions. I was a featured artist in the 2014 & 2015 Frostburg Arts Walk; “35 Under 35” in the 2016 Issue of Allegany Magazine; Maryland Public Television’s “Our Town: Cumberland,” and the 2023 Savage Mountain Punk Festival. I am currently a semi-finalist of the 2024 CBIZ Mural Project of Downtown Cumberland.
Frank L. Asher (FLA)
Resume of Artist Cumberland Resident since 2018 Frank Asher Landscape gardener/ garden artist/ writer. 1998- Present Guerrilla Gardener in Washington DC and Cumberland. Taking on public spaces that have been abandoned and adding plants and small pieces of natural art. Items with sticks/stones/jewels/mirrors, etc. 2000-2017 Fairies Crossing Focused on the inner city landscapes with native perennials and edibles. 2008-2013 OLD CITY green. Inner city nursery known as “The Green Beating Heart of Shaw.” Retail and community space built out of an abandoned lot that was once a gas station.
Evergreen Hertiage Center
The Evergreen Heritage Center (EHC), a 131-acre Allegany County farm established during the Revolutionary War, is listed on the National Register of Historic Properties, is part of Maryland’s Rural Legacy area for its historic and cultural significance and is protected under a conservation easement as part of its commitment to “living off the land” while preserving it for future generations.

Topflyght tv
Topflyght tv is a platform for artist to showcase there art. There are 3 different platforms included, an interview platform where artist can tell the world about there art and any back story they would like to convey. A live performance room were we record live performances for the artist to promote and showcase there craft. A you tube platform for artist to promote perform and speak about their latest endeavors.
