Lori Dever
I grew up in Essex, MD.  I was taught to draw from my father.  I studied Advertising, Fine Arts, and Photography in Ohio at the Columbus College of Art and Design.  Leaving school just shy of graduating, I toured the United States, and ended up in Olympia, Wa. for six years.  There I lived as a full time artists.  I have had shows from Washington State and Maryland over the years.
Choptank Arts & Culture Exchange
We are based in Cambridge, Maryland and facilitate artistic and cultural projects in Dorchester and Talbot Counties. Our main focus is offering grants to help arts and culture projects come to fruition and to support local artists and musicians.   We also offer training in grant writing and serve as facilitators, connecting those with project ideas to those who can help bring the ideas to life.
Cheryl Daringer
My painting experience was guided by my middle school art teacher Shirley Brannock. Mrs. Brannock helped me get involved with the Dorchester Center for the Arts when it first opened. I was one of the youngest oil painters who learned to love the magic of a paint brush. Thanks to her, I received a high school scholarship and met other artists, their mediums and it allowed me to expand my horizons. Sculpture, carving, silversmithing, and glass work. I have recently taken up watercolors and enjoy the challenge of painting with less paint and the movement of the water.
SmoothJazzDJ
I serve as a church musician (pianist, drums) for over 40 years, with a playing style mix of traditional gospel/smooth jazz.   As a DJ, my music of choice is Smooth Jazz and Black (traditional and contemporary).  I love DJing for professional office/organizational events, providing sound and mics with a little smooth jazz in the background and between talking sessions/presentations.

Capturing Moments as they happen. My love for photography started with my children and grows deeper after every session. I am versed in multiple genres and both Natural light and studio lighting. My images have been highlighted on the Cover of Shore Magazine and the Chesapeake Bay Wedding as well as other local publications for Dorchester County Tourism and Economic Development.
Kayla Allen
My name is Kayla Allen and I am a traveling plein air artist based in Cambridge Maryland. I am currently on a quest to paint each of the 63 US National Parks on site. My pieces are meant to be a reflection of the emotion, movement, and emotion of an area or scene.
Peg McCormack
Years of study about sculpture with well-known Richard Liberman of Philadelphia deepened my passion for this type of art. I went on to study with a wide variety of prominent artists in the mediums of not just sculpture but also Drawing, Pastels, Watercolor, and more.  I am still studying - my love of art drives me to become better and better!
Ashley Watkins
A native of Cambridge, Maryland, Ashley began her musical journey at 10 years old playing in the fourth-grade band. As she grew older, music became more purposeful in her life. Her first one-on-one flute instruction was given by a flute teacher at a local music store. In high school, she frequently traveled to areas beyond her eastern shore location to participate in youth programs that helped solidify her musical foundation. Ashley became a member of the Annapolis music youth program, the DC Youth Orchestra, the Peabody Sinfonietta, and the Quince Orchard Wind Symphony.
Jill Jasuta
Jill Jasuta became a professional photographer in a roundabout way – moving from writing to graphic design to photography. She is mostly self-taught in both design and photography, and she is always pushing herself to learn more and take on new challenges. Her passion lies in capturing the beauty and sense of place on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, where this New Jersey native has called home for 17 years.
