After three years of formal study and honing a deep appreciation for texture through black & white, she now brings a vibrant, colorful and intimate perspective to her work, capturing hidden worlds with precision and passion. Much of her work is shot in her own garden or neighborhood parks.

DeeBee grew up island hopping through the Caribbean and Hawaii. It was through these travels where she made it a habit to fearlessly get up close and personal to the biodiversity of the tropical rainforests and marine life.
She later used her passion for the environment to fuel her studies as an Environmental Engineer. With this degree she worked closely with architects as a mechanical engineer, drawing complex plumbing and hvac systems on building plans.
