We are Leigh Scott and Mark Cohen, a married couple who created Focal Pointers as a joint venture. We are avid outdoor adventurers who enjoy landscape and wildlife photography. Since meeting in 2012, we have taken photos in a wide variety of interesting locations around the world. Our Canon cameras and lenses are an essential part of our outdoor gear, just as important as sturdy boots and a pair of trekking poles. Our willingness to hike for considerable distances provides the opportunity for us to capture photos of places that most casual travelers would never see.

Life experience and profession has enabled me to become proficient blending woodworking, metalworking and technology to create hypnotic and therapeutic art displays.
We are an established art organization with over 150 members active in displaying various types of visual arts, paintings, sculptures, photography jewelry, and so much more. We have a gallery located in City Park, Hagerstown in what is referred to as the Mansion House, a previous private home now owned by the city of Hagerstown that our group leases. Our gallery is open to the public on Fridays and Saturdays from 11-4 and on Sundays from 1-5. There are three galleries plus the lobby that display our art.
Hello! My name is Star and I’m 36 years old. I’m a wife & mother. I love fashion, style & creating. My style is eccentric, classic, vintage & fairytale inspired. I love color, ruffles, bows, sequins, mixing patterns and timeless looks. I love designing for myself and repurposing old looks and giving them a new life. For 2 years I worked as a lead designer for my previous brand “Once Upon A Time Boutique.”
The Washington County Arts Council has worked to enrich the cultural, social and economic life of the community through nurturing the arts since 1968. The WCAC serves residents of all ages in this diverse and growing county in the Cumberland Valley, nestled in the gently rolling mountains of western Maryland.
The WCAC provides a wide variety of programming; technical assistance; funding opportunities; and encouragement to arts organizations and individual artists, developing connections between them and those who desire to have art in their lives.
I am an individual researcher and documentarian creating visual media about pre-revolutionary western Maryland.
