Andrea Dulanto is a Latinx queer feminist writer. She has an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Florida International University and a B.A. in Literature/Women's Studies from Antioch College.
Currently, she teaches English for speakers of other languages. She also works as a writing tutor, freelance writer, and editor.
Other teaching experiences includes creative writing and composition courses. She has presented writing workshops at arts organizations such as The Stonewall National Museum & Archives and the Museum of Contemporary Art, North Miami. In addition to her experience as an educator, she has worked as a Communications Coordinator for the Miami International Book Fair and organized literary readings for the Women's Studies Conference at Florida International University.
Her writing has appeared in Berkeley Poetry Review, Lavender Review, Court Green, as well as other publications. In 2012, her work was selected as a runner-up in the Kenyon Review Short Fiction Contest.
