Art for all ages that spans the ages of time...
Corporate finance and marketing have been my career focus for many years. Largely self-taught as an artist, I found myself craving an outlet to express my appreciation of all things art. So, in late 2015, Audrey’s Art for the Ages launched with specific goals in mind; creating art, advocating the pay it forward/give back concept and inspiring others to do so. Every custom work of art is created for a very special reason, to benefit another.
My current creative focus is primarily acrylic painting on canvas. The various uses of acrylics seem endless, so for now, I am thoroughly enjoying pushing the limits. Occasionally, for a change of pace, I’ll break out a different set of tools and create a beautifully unique piece of stained glass, or my latest interest, pyrography!
2016 was a whirlwind of activity. In the Spring, it was my honor to be selected by Greg Mort, one of America’s foremost contemporary painters, as an artist for two Art of Stewardship juried exhibits. First, my painting “The Energy of Nature” was selected for the Howard County Conservancy's 2016 Art of Stewardship - Nature Through the Artist's Eyes exhibition. Second, “To Gaze in Wonder” was selected for the RiverArts Chestertown Turn to Tender exhibition. In late March, I participated in the annual Twitter Art Exhibit, a collection of voluntary donations of art from artists worldwide with 100% of the proceeds benefiting charity. Currently, commission requests, website development and recently launching an online store have been keeping me busy.
This is my passion project. I am passionate about art, the mission of helping others through art, and promoting the pay it forward message and satisfaction of giving back. Thank you so much for your support!
