I often transform trash into art.  Shouldn't we all?  Wouldn't the World be a better place with more art and less trash?

There is an emphasis and interest to my personal art for the recycling of found objects- the material waste from other processes, consumer packaging, and/or discarded objects with historic imagery, and what that can suggest.

I also love the collaborative process and working with others / helping others achieve artistic goals and / or projects needing creative design resources to advance and succeed.

About the Artist

I have had an interdisciplinary studio practice for 35+ years, with work experience and influences that include: Fine arts / architectural training.  Theater craft (Set design and construction. Properties. Scenic Painting. Show posters and related graphics). Museum exhibit projects. Visual merchandising for regional store chains. Art gallery collaborative membership.   Public art & installations. Assemblage - furniture or household items. Painting & collage/graphic design comingled with digital-photo techniques.  This production experience and travel have influenced my personal work.   My personal influences include Kurt Schwitters and hardware stores.   I have often worked as a production artisan or used applied visual presentation techniques to support my other vocational track.  Though I have personal visions to pursue, I also love the collaborative process and working with others / helping others.  There is an emphasis and interest to my personal art for the recycling of found objects-material waste from other processes - discarded objects with historic imagery and what that can suggest.   I often transform trash into art.  Shouldn't we all?  Wouldn't the World be a better place with more art and less trash?
