About the Artist
I am a Maryland artist living in Harford County. My art education consists of art classes at Harford Community College, Towson University, and studio classes at Zoll’s School of Art. I have also taken workshops with local and nationally known artists. I have always loved to create. Coloring as a child, sewing as a young mother, and in more recent years I started to paint. I had finally found my passion. I am a realistic painter creating landscapes and still lifes of the places that I have visited and the things that are meaningful to me. Color, contrast, and composition are my keys to creating paintings that move me and I hope also do the same to people that view them. Being able to paint is a gift and I cherish it.Artist's Statement
Art by itself is an expression of our minds perception of thought and reality. The expressions of my works are reflections of my own surroundings through everyday life and places that I have visited, seen or touched. I like to draw the viewer into my art and then let them finish the painting in their own thoughtsFeatured Work
