About the Artist
Alyssa Fowler is an interdisciplinary artist working across oil painting and photography, with a focus on portraiture, the human figure, and live music. Her practice explores both the immediacy and accessibility of photography and the emotional depth of painting, capturing high-energy performances alongside quiet, intimate moments of human connection. Through her paintings, Fowler focuses on still moments in time, gestures, body language, and fleeting interactions that reveal vulnerability, closeness, and presence. Having covered 15+ live shows, she creates fast-turnaround, editorial-ready images while also translating these experiences into slower, more reflective painterly works that examine memory, emotion, and the physicality of the body.Featured Work

For exhibitions or presentations, Alyssa typically requires standard wall display space and proper lighting for artwork and photographic prints. For photoshoots, Alyssa will provide and bring all necessary photography equipment unless otherwise discussed in advance.
Alyssa is currently available for projects, exhibitions, and events within the Baltimore area and is willing to travel up to approximately 40 minutes outside of Baltimore for creative opportunities and bookings. Travel beyond this range may be considered depending on the scope of the project and compensation provided.
