About the Artist

Amari-Grey (she/her) is a curator, educator, and postdisciplinary artist. Her practice considers generational memory, gender, technology, and land cultures through experimental writing, performance, installation and social practice. She holds a BA in Art, Film, Visual Studies from Harvard University. She is a 2024-’25 BRIC Contemporary Art Resident and has completed residencies/fellowships with Sundress Academy for the Arts, Brooklyn Poets, Wendy’s Subway, and Mellon Foundation. Her writings can be found in various publications including Studio Magazine, The Kitchen: On Mind, and Columbia Journal of Literary Criticism.
