About the Artist

Hello, I am Amber Jones. I am from Baltimore, Maryland. I am the Visual Artist and Owner of Keiota Studio LLC. Keiota Studio is my handcrafted gift shop. I truly believe in self-improvement. That's why I sell  stationery to help customers plan their goals, and artwork to beautify their homes and offices. I have three children and I own a dog. Some of my interests include gardening, roller skating, and horseback riding. I feature my interests as subjects in my artwork. Other women have told me that I inspire them when they see me blossom as an entrepreneur, and by confidently showing others how I balance my lifestyle. One of my art shows was featured on the WBAL News Channel. With hard work and dedication, I gained valuable business education throughout the years. The Reginald F. Lewis Youth Entrepreneurship Program, which I attended as a teenager, also provided me with valuable knowledge that has helped me succeed.  I am enthusiastic about utilizing my creative background to help my community. Some projects that I have assisted the community with are teaching children art and design, educating the public about the equestrian field, cleaning up an explosion site in Baltimore City, donating to needy families with the American Red Cross, and building a public school in Glen Burnie, Maryland. I have completed educational courses at a local community college and at the  prestigious Maryland Institute College of Art and Design.

Artist's Statement

Keiota Studio LLC is a handcrafted, artsy gift shop curator by Visual Artist; Amber. This unique gift shop has a self-empowerment focus selling products such as planners, journals and keychains that resonate with customers, help them to organize, reflect, and motivate themselves to complete goals. Monthly YouTube videos and Amber's social media presence helps build a community around the Keiota Studio brand, giving customers a chance to connect and feel empowered together. Featuring videos of Amber painting, creating crafts for her gift shop and enjoying outdoors align with the self-empowerment theme, add variety and strengthen the brand’s mission. On Sunday, August 1, 2021 Keiota Studio was featured on WBAL Channel 11 news. This segment was about our Artist and her event.
