Amber Bianca Smithers

About the Artist

Amber (She/her) is a performer and teacher. In 2025 Smithers played Juliet in Romeo and Juliet at Chesapeake Shakespeare Company’s Spring 2025 matinee series. She recently was a part of the 2025 cohort for Theatre Lab’s Life Stories Institute. She has been a guest artist and teaching artist at A. Mario Loiederman Middle School in partnership with Olney Theatre Center. She has worked with several local theatre companies as an actor, playwright, and teacher. In college she was nominated for Irene Ryan in 2020. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Theatre from the University of Maryland, College Park.
