Andrea McCluskey

About the Artist

Andrea McCluskey is a visual artist, living and working in Frederick, Maryland. Andrea has been creating artwork for over 40 years. She is currently an adjunct faculty in the art department at Hood College, teaching Design and Printmaking courses. Andrea works in a variety of mediums: printmaking, pulp painting,encaustic, assemblage, and sculpture. The embodiment of Nature as a sentient presence and its connection to our ancestral lineages are central themes in her work. Andrea is a member of NOMA Gallery in Frederick, Maryland. She received the C.A.N. Recovery Grant in 2022 from the National Endowment for the Arts through the Frederick Arts Council.
