Artist Statement
“Growing up in a rural of Thailand, I witnessed many poverties and illnesses in my hometown that caused many of my family and neighbors to suffer. But I was also shown by my community how various art forms (especially, painting, dancing, singing, and floral arrangement) could lift a person’s spirit and bring Hope and JOY. As an artist of multiple disciplines, I used several techniques to best express my work. But one thing that I will always thrive for the best is to make sure that each of my work produces SMILES on my audiences’ faces and bring the most JOY to them.”
About the Artist
Naturally gifted and nurturally raised in a family of fine art father, floral artist mother, and prose and performing art grandparents, Ann was installed the love of art since a young age. She earned Bachelor of Art from Chiang Mai University (2003), Thailand and completed several art courses through continuous education at Georgetown University in D.C. and Yellow Barn, Glen Echo Center in Maryland. Early in her career, Ann worked as an intern for Thai News Agency in Bangkok and then a marketing coordinator for Accor Asia Pacific before obtaining MBA from Trinity Washington University (2008) in D.C. Afterward, she spent over a decade working for several U.S. Defense agencies before resigning in late 2017. Today, Ann works full-time as a Youtube Creator, Writer, and Painter (pastel and watercolor), and is more passional than ever about bringing JOY to others through her various art forms.Featured Work
