Artist's Statement

"Tell all the truth but tell it slant" wrote Emily Dickinson in one of my favorite poems. My oil landscapes, executed solely with a palette knife, merging abstract and representational, proclaim a new Truth. With their bold colors and rugged texture, my paintings are telling it slant.
