About the Artist

Artist Amber Proctor is a local DMV artist and art educator who looks to inspire the next "dope" artists with her works of art. As a long time art art appreciator and administrative assistant with LW arts and Design, she is a self taught artist who felt is was time to share in her creativity with the world .  Growing up Amber described her pencil and sketchbook as her most valued possession and when faced with adverse times in life took to art as a form of self-expression. With the world and the adversity we all face in it , she took the freedom of art to express her thoughts.  She draws inspiration from life experiences and the constant reminder of the empowerment of women.  " I was Created to Create "
