Embroidery on hand-woven cotton
Jan 2017
My current body of work is constructed on the loom. To create these pieces, I draw my image to scale using graph paper. I then embroider as I weave, working about 7 inches at a time. I weave a section, then embroider into the cloth using a counted stitch technique.
