Artkina is an artist that enjoys expressing herself mostly in drawings, illustrations, and paintings. She likes to find ways to incorporate her love of woodworking and sculpture into some of her pieces when possible. Artkina has been creative most of her life! She has had limited formal training in the visual arts however and is mainly a self-taught illustrator. She is constantly searching for ways to improve her skills by learning new techniques and styles.

About the Artist

I am a visual artist and illustrator who loves incorporating my love for the environment, nature, current events, music, and culture in my artwork.  I enjoy creating mixed media pieces, paintings, and illustrations.  My focus is mostly Abstract Realism; however, I am always open to trying new styles and techniques to see how far I can push my artistic skills and abilities.
