About the Artist

The CEO, Manager, Producer, and drummer for Avenue 66, Marcus Hampton, wanted to create a diverse band to perform for a diverse audience and needed musicians with the same concepts and talents. Avenue 66 is a 10-piece variety cover band from varying races, age groups, and diverse musical backgrounds, much like your family, friends, and patrons at your event (s). The band has information technology experts, current and ex-military special bandsmen, music teachers, college students, and employees from various governments and civilian organizations throughout the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) area. Avenue 66 performs diverse, mainstream, classic, and memorable music in different genres such as jazz, R&B, pop, today's country, rock, Latin, alternative, and reggae. This musical ensemble performs a diverse repertoire of famous artists, including Earth, Wind, & Fire, Bob Marley, Santana, Bruno Mars, Anderson Paak, Motown, Whitney Houston, Tower of Power, Journey, Taylor Swift, Chicago, Bob Seger, and more. Avenue 66 is a Diverse Musician Organization (DMO).

We are willing to talk about prices and alternative package options. based on several factors. similar to whether you offer or do not offer sound, stage, electricity, and lights. All the equipment for our performance will be provided by us! We can provide our own stage, lighting, sound equipment, and generator if you are unable to do so.

Will travel as long as the funds meet the bill required to have our act.
