About the Artist
I have been practicing the art of stained glass for 25+ years. I use the work "practice" intentionally, as I continue to learn new techniques and try new methods with each piece I create. I appreciate stained glass as a medium due to the inherent technical precision required as well as the creativity it allows for. As a psychologist and a glass artist, I am drawn to universal themes. I also seek to convey a sense of serenity and/or to communicate a feeling in much of my work. In my business, Kensington Glass Art, I work with clients to develop custom pieces and I sell my work at local markets. I am a member of the National Capitol Art Glass Guild, the Montgomery Art Association and the Stained Glass Association of America.
