Art is in my soul and I see patterns that flow in and around us. At times these patterns are fractured and grotesque but other times harmonious and soothing. Such is life and so too is my art. Every painting that I create has a name and tells a story through shapes, colors, and patterns. –BXB
About the Artist
Beau Bown is a digital media artist that specializes in Graphic Design, Digital Animation, and Video Editing. Beau has worked on a variety of different projects including; promotional videos, logo design/animation projects, social media campaigns, interviews, and photography work. Beau moved to Baltimore, MD in 2019 for a two-year fellowship program with Venture for America, where they currently work as Director of Communications and Marketing for a research and technology park with over 120 product/ tech service companies. During this time, Beau has created brand identity, written press releases, composed newsletters, and edited promotional videos for companies within the research park and for start-ups in the greater Baltimore community. Raised in the Rocky Mountains of Midway, Utah – Beau often draws inspiration from tones, moods, and temperatures that evoke strong feelings. After high school, Beau was accepted to Regent’s University of London (ENG), and gained hands-on training in writing, directing, editing, and learned how to work with actors. After, Beau attended Utah State University where they graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BA in History and a Minor in Leadership and Management. While in college, Beau also led collaboration with students in the Yale Film Department to create a low-budget documentary called “Monumental: The Bears Ears Story.” Additionally, Beau went on to secure a position as a video editing/ media intern at Dragonfli Media Technologies where they found opportunities to work as a freelance videographer and video editor/animator. https://beaubown.com/Featured Work

Beau X. Bown (BXB) is an experienced video editor and producer with strong design skills. Based in the United States, Beau has worked on a variety of different commercial and creative projects to deliver innovative techniques in video editing, custom graphics, visual effects, and augmented reality experiences.
Beau was accepted to the Regent's University of London, Film and Global Theatre, program, and gained expertise in video editing, writing, directing on-screen talent, production planning, and set design. Beau returned to the U.S. to expand on-camera techniques at a Meisner-based film & acting program at the Neighborhood Playhouse in New York City.
Beau graduated with honors, BA in History, and a Minor in Leadership and Management from Utah State University. Between courses, Beau led the collaboration with students with the Yale Film Department to create a low-budget documentary called “Monumental: The Bears Ears Story.” Additionally, Beau worked part-time at Dragonfli Media Technologies, as a freelance video editor for some of the world’s largest brands and enterprise clients.
