About the Artist

BlissArmyKnife is a multimedia artist born and raised in P.G County Maryland. At a young age they gravitated to the arts, taking up activities such as drawing, songwriting and dancing. In Senior year of high school, Bliss started recording music and soon after joined the music collective that would become 3SIDE. Bliss would go on to collaborate and share the stage with fellow members of the collective, performing across the DMV, becoming a staple in the Baltimore underground Hip-Hop circuit. In 2018 Bliss began drawing again after giving up this pursuit in elementary school, a year later they would take up painting which soon became a main focus for the Artist, participating in their first group exhibition in 2019. Bliss has participated in various exhibitions throughout the DMV as well as New York, LA and Indianapolis, Including 2 solo exhibitions in Baltimore. In 2023 Bliss was selected to be in Baltimore’s annual Artscape “B23 Best of Baltimore” group exhibition. Bliss has sold several artworks throughout the U.S. They are currently planning their next Solo art show, as well as experimenting in filmmaking, photography, fashion and continuing to make music.
