About the Artist
Bob Boguslaw, Pianist
Pianist Robert Boguslaw is an active performer in the Washington DC and Baltimore areas. He received his musical training at the University of Miami and the University of Kentucky where he completed his Master’s degree in performance. His principal teachers were Fred Coulter and Lucien Stark. He has performed as a soloist with the National Gallery Orchestra, the Mclean Symphony, the Lancaster Symphony, and the President’s Own US Marine Band. As a performer of chamber music he has appeared with the New Hampshire Music Festival, with Washington’s Post Classical Ensemble, at the Library of Congress, and at the Kennedy Center. Orchestral performances include the Royal Philharmonic, the Baltimore Symphony, The St. Petersburg Symphony, and the Alexandria Symphony. In the year 2000 he founded the Rock Creek trio which has performed at the Kennedy Center, the University of MD, Baltimore County, and numerous other concert venues in the region. Mr. Boguslaw is retired from the President’s Own US Marine Band and currently resides in West Friendship where he maintains an active private teaching schedule.
