Eclectic covers & original music, most of which can be heard while shopping at your favorite grocery stores, liquor stores, & dispensaries.

Artist's Statement

The Singing Shaman Secret Crafting song lists for gigs can be an art form of its own. Every song played &/or sung by me is approached as a potential expression of passion &/or pain. Sharing & transmuting energy through storytelling are very important to learning, evolution, & to some great meaningful entertainment. There is an intention to tell the stories of emotion & growth in an order that has conflict, climax, & resolution, but there is also a self-imposed obligation to meet the people in hearing distance & myself at our current level of consciousness. From there, we can exalt, celebrate, sing, laugh, &/or cry till it's time to leave. Some of the best compliments received are that my set lists are diverse, moving, & pleasantly surprising & that they often forget they were listening to live music because it blends in so well with the ambience of the event. However, the Wolfcat is always open to howl & roar at the moon when the situation demands it. ~ Peace, Love, & Gratitude...

    The title coming from a mix tape of the same name my late uncle gave me in the 1980's, containing cult classics & hits from his vinyl collection. The song was written & mostly recorded in the backyard where I grew up, the place where I often dreamed of flying with the birds, bugs, bees, & butterflies & climbed trees with crawling critters. It's about fulfilling that dream & finding that love one day, but when?

    The recording was meant to be a demo to eventually be rerecorded by better musicians, but I've gotten used to this version. The video was recently made playing with green screen technology & integrating my rusty celluloid animation skills into the digital age.

    "The Highwayman" was released in 1985 by the country supergroup, The Highwaymen, consisting of Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, Waylon Jennings, & Johnny Cash. This haunting tune has been with me since &, while my performance shall keep improving, it finally got to a place to share. Performed at the Sunset Restaurant in Glen Burnie.     Self produced with the aid of musicians & friends as a way to deal with the isolation & desperation of the pandemic. Over an hour and a half of performances, sketches, & talks about the Grateful Dead, Jerry Garcia, & how they influenced our lives & us as musicians. Hopefully, this humorous honor to America's First & Finest Jam Band will be seen as a respected tribute by Deadheads around the multiverse.

Mostly self-sufficient, but some sort of shelter from the storms, access to electricity, & an 8'x8' space on level hard surface would be a nice touch. I can provide a 10'x10' canopy tent, minimal flooring, a van for weather protecting gear, & a 69db power generator, if needed.

Travel Light
Will go anywhere if it's worth it. Working vacations are also fun.
