About the Artist

Cam has composed for, and performed in, all imaginable music genres. Original music commissions have come from classical, jazz, and pop performers as well as film/video producers, modern dance choreographers, ice skaters, equestrian riders, and visual/multi-media artists. Music commissions have come from 'Ice Theatre of New York', US National Park Service, classical guitarist Candice Mowbray, choreographer Maida Withers, Grant Mackewan College, and "The Downstream Project" among others. As a trombonist, he has performed with the Calgary Philharmonic, Count Basie Orchestra, The O'Jays', Toronto's 'Royal York Hotel' orchestra, Doc Severinson, Bob Brookmeyer, Maria Schneider, and numerous other artists. As an educator, Cam has been an adjunct professor at Shepherd University, Frederick Community College, and has taught music at private schools.
