Artist's Statement

Camellia A, Blackwell, Ph.D., is an award winning fine artist and restoration artist with more than 35 years of professional experience as a printmaker, photographer, painter, muralist, illustrator and mixed media artist. She has won numerous awards for her art works from local, national and international museums, art centers and art education organizations and her works are included in many collections to include: Howard County Arts Council, Maryland State Arts Council, National Art Education Association, Albany Museum, Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History, National Zoological Park, State Fine Arts Museum of Almaty, State Fine Arts Museum of Bishkek, and the International Executive Service Corps (to name a few).
