About the Artist

  Started painting in October of 2017, "never painted before" and only use oil based paint. Started watching Bob Ross painting videos over and over and caught on rather quickly. Since then I have painted over 34 paintings and sold some already. I have tried to copy what others have done before, especially hard to do and also on my own tangent. I try to do challenging work that I and others say I couldn't of done. I like to add depth to the paintings and have used additional paint to make layers (pop out from painting), especially for snow, trees and waves, but also a technique I developed by using small square toothpicks to make cherry blossoms and bonsai trees see some of my work). I try to make interesting paintings that are dynamic and individual in each painting I develop adding skills learned and develop new ones. I am very creative in my work and some of wished I started much earlier in life and could do this professionally than on a side hobby of mine. I do small and medium paintings (10-14" to 30x40" sizes). After you see my work, you will wonder how in the world did he just start recently, just think of what is in the future with the work I do since I constantly challenge myself and do things not seen with oil based paintings. Artist's Statement

I try to do very challenging work, even with most people saying I am at my early stage of works. I have gone above the norm with a gift for painting that I did not know I had till late 2017. I like to add dimensions to my paintings, that is not seen or very unusual. I have not seen anyone elses work compare to my paintings with pop out features like trees and cherry blossoms. I will continue to strive to go above and beyond the norm and add small and large works to my portfolio. I even try to do paintings from photos others have recommended me to try. Nothing is beyond my limits since challenges I take on.
