About the Artist
Chrsitine Mosere is an a director and actress who spent most of her career working in NYC and Seattle. She moved to Frederick, MD in 2016 to manage Maryland Ensemble Theatre. After two years, she realized that creating art was her passion and began working working to bring forgotten plays to Frederick together with large groups of actors and musicians. They produced under the title Endangered Species theatre Project for two years and then realized that the community wanted more. After receiving an Individual Artist Grant to lead a group of artists to bring Kate Chopin's "The Awakening" to Frederick, Christine decided to formalize their collective. She asked her advisors to become board members and applied for non-profit status. Endangered Species theatre Project is in their first year as an official non-profit but in their third year as a collective group of artists.
