About the Artist

C L A U D I A. LAMY calls herself a 2D, 3D, 4D Augmented Reality Installation Artist thus multimedia artist. She holds a holistic view of art-making that concentrates on sharing the artistic process as part of the art work. Her methodology involves intuitive direction combined with structural spaces to bring forth the symbolic consideration of #everydaylife. The construction of each piece involves a blind faith of intuitive direction, unknown play development, experimentation of layered concepts, materials stylized that act as a storyboard to herself and those open to investment into an internal dialogue.  The installations are designed to create a surreal space that invites an unknown experience to the viewer and or participant. The use of spaces include personal to public spaces and is currently in the meta verse space designing experiences to fuel internal awareness. The sense of presence comes from audience experiencing their own sense of body as a starting point.  The holistic approach to her work is about enhancing the lost art of being.  That has been challenged by western cultural technological development that is creating a overly high dopamine charge to our system that disregulates our sense of individual and community wellbeing. The overly achievements of financial and status that negleates the other attributes for a balances of progress with human ethics. 

Artist's Statement

My current vision is to connect with the right spaces to bring new opportunities of integrating my love of large scale painting, installation and augmented reality technology.  Curating public spaces that enhance thoughts through imprints of imagery that inspires and invites for deeper possible layers of conversations within the individual to show externally to the community.
