About the Artist

I decided to pursue a lifelong goal of becoming an artist later in life.  While that journey is ongoing, it is as rewarding and challenging as anything I have ever  undertaken.  ​I spent a majority of my youth on or near the Chesapeake Bay in Southern Maryland.   Summers were spent working odd jobs, and barefoot, and sunbathing in my off time. Winters were spent in school,  hunting and exploring the bay shore and its woodlands.   I admit much of the time I should have spent studying was instead used for drawing and doodling.  So through two careers and a lifetime of normal and sometimes unusual experiences I have always secretly seen myself as an artist. I've traveled extensively throughout America, Europe, and Asia.  I experienced the beauty all around us and am particularly impressed with how green the grass is in my own back yard.  I try to create and sell unique art - satisfying my personal desire to portray some of what I have seen and experienced in a way that will touch someone in a positive way.  In stretching to achieve that goal, I welcome your feedback and more often than not find it inspirational.
